This collection represents a small fraction of objects gathered over the past 12 years. It is a study of the immense biodiversity of Ireland and includes bones, insects, shells and rocks, eggs, teeth and fossils. Rather than a typical scientific categorization, the collection has been divided into that which lives primarily in the sea, that which lives on land, and that which lives in the air. The majority of objects are placed in transparent boxes, evoking a sense of museological display. Alongside the boxes hand written text accounts for every other species found on the island.
